Anthony Carpenter – Att. First Degree Murder Arrest

On April 6, 2014 at about 6:45pm the Hendersonville Police Department received a complaint of a stabbing at Monthaven Park Place. A female reported that she had been stabbed multiple times by her live-in boyfriend, 53 year old Anthony G. Carpenter. The victim was transported by lifeflight to Vanderbilt for treatment and is currently listed as “critical but stable”. Mr. Carpenter was later arrested at a Day’s Inn, in Cave City KY by Hendersonville Police Department Detectives along with the Cave City Police Department and the Kentucky Highway Patrol for aggravated assault.  Since that arrest Det. Chris Gagnon of the Hendersonville Police Department has obtained a warrant for attempted first degree murder.

Mr. Carpenter was taken to the Barren County Jail KY where he was charged in KY with being a “fugitive from justice”.  The court date is pending and will be determined when Carpenter is extradited from Kentucky.
