Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Kidnapping Arrests

MEDIA  RELEASE

On June 2, 2014 at 12:10 a.m. the Hendersonville Police Department received a report of an Aggravated Robbery, that had occurred in the parking lot of 500 West Main Street.  A HPD unit observed a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle and on attempting to stop the vehicle it fled towards Madison.

Investigation thus far has resulted in two suspects being arrested by HPD on the morning of 6/02/2014 in Nashville. Arrested were:

Stephen Marcus Romines, age 22, of Rivergate Meadows Drive in Goodlettsville, Tennessee and James L. Jensen, age 39, of Brooke Valley Road in Hermitage, Tennessee.

Both were charged with two counts each of Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Kidnapping. Jensen was charged with an additional count of evading arrest. A photograph of both Romines and Jensen is attached to this release. Romines has a bond of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars. Jensen has a bond of Thirty-Three Thousand Dollars. Both have a General Sessions Court date of July 09, 2014 at 9:00 a.m.

Police recovered the abandoned suspect vehicle near Rivergate Mall. No injuries have been reported as a result of this incident.
