Alcohol Compliance Checks – Septemeber 2016

On September 1, 2016, members of the Hendersonville Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks of several local establishments. Twenty-Five locations were visited and all but three refused to sell an alcoholic beverage to an underage customer. The following establishments sold alcohol to an underage customer:

Pops Pizza and Bar located at 803 West Main Street, the server charged was Jennifer Nicole Mix, age 35, of Cottontown, Tennessee

Sopapilla’s located at 300 Indian Lake Blvd, the server charged was Christiania R. Hicks, age 48, of Madison, Tennessee

Twice Daily Market #7207 located at 343 East Main Street, the server charged was Tonya M. Crownover, age 52, of Hendersonville, Tennessee

The offending servers were cited for selling an alcoholic beverage to a minor and their court appearances were set for September 26, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. for Crownover and Hicks, and October 24, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. for Mix in the Sumner County General Sessions Court.

The H.P.D. would like to thank all businesses who were in compliance and remind all others that the H.P.D. will continue to do random checks of all businesses selling alcoholic beverages.
