Robbery / False Report and Burglary Arrest

On October 24, 2016 at approximately 1:47 am, officers of the Hendersonville Police Department responded to a complaint that a robbery had occurred in the area of 179 West Main Street. During the course of the investigation it was determined that the robbery report was false and the following people were arrested:

Justin Ray Smith, 21 yoa from Hendersonville – theft under $500.00, General Sessions Court date 11-23-2016, bond $3000.00

Michael Komoll, 34 yoa from Hendersonville – filing a false police report, General Sessions Court date 11-23-2016, bond $4000.00

17 years of age juvenile – theft under $500.00, court date undetermined at this time

It was also determined that the fourth person had been involved in multiple car burglaries in the Wessington Place area.

Austin Tyler Whittum, 19 yoa from Hendersonville was charged with: Four counts of theft under $500.00, possession of drug paraphernalia, five counts of burglary, and  one count of theft over $1000.00

Whittum’s bond in $12,000.00 and his court date is also November 23, 2016.
