Timothy Michael Evans, Fraud Arrest

On May 23, 2016, the Hendersonville Police Department received a complaint regarding a company known as Cattle Traxx. Timothy Michael Evans, the owner of the company, sold products to several people and did not deliver it. The investigation revealed that Timothy Michael Evans collected more than $123,000.00 for ear tags and gateways to 29 Cattle Ranchers and did not deliver on any of the product.  Timothy Michael Evans, 50 years of age, was arrested on January 13, 2017 on an 18 count indictment. The charges are: 14 counts of theft over $1,000.00, and 4 counts of theft over $10,000.00.

Evans is currently being held at the Sumner County Jail under a $10,000.00 bonds, awaiting his Criminal Court date of January 20, 2017 at 9:00 am.  Anyone with information regarding this or other crime is encouraged to call the Hendersonville Crime Stoppers at 615-573-5400. Tips can also be submitted by text to the number 274637 (crimes) using keyword TIPHPD.
