Credit Card Fraud Arrests

On May 4, 2017, members of the Hendersonville Police Department were summoned to Walmart at 204 N. Anderson Lane to investigate suspicious credit card activity. The investigation led to the arrest of 24-year old David Reinaldo Lopez Rios of Hialeah, FL. David was located at the scene and was found to be in possession of an altered debit card which had stolen credit card information re-encoded on the EMV chip. David perpetrated this same scheme at Walmart stores in Gallatin, TN, and Lebanon, TN prior to coming to Hendersonville. David has been charged with Criminal Simulation, Theft of Property Under $1000, and twelve (12) counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.

His initial appearance in Sumner County General Sessions Court is set for June 14, 2017. His bond has not yet been determined. David Reinaldo Lopez Rios worked in concert with two other suspects. The Hendersonville Police Department is seeking your assistance in identifying and locating these other two.
