On April 25, 2018, members of the Hendersonville Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks of several local establishments. Thirty-three locations were visited and all but three refused to sell an alcoholic beverage to an underage customer. The following establishments sold alcohol to an underage customer:
Hendersonville Strike and Spare Bowling Center located at 90 Volunteer Drive, the server charged was Amber N. Harvey, age 36, of Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Mapco located at 1187 West Main Street, the server charged was Destiny D. Rice, age 19, of Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Twice Daily’s located at 343 East Main Street, the server charged was Latanya N. McGregor, age 32, of Hendersonville, Tennessee.
The offending servers were cited for selling an alcoholic beverage to a minor and their court appearances were set for May 21, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. in the Sumner County General Sessions Court.
The H.P.D. would like to thank all businesses who were in compliance and remind all others that the H.P.D. will continue to do random checks of all businesses selling alcoholic beverages.
