Attempted Aggravated Burglary Arrest – Eric Lee Cartwright
On Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 11:48 a.m. the Hendersonville Police Department received notification that an attempted burglary had just occurred on Cole Court in Hendersonville. A member of the family was home and heard someone attempting to enter the residence through a kitchen window. The witness observed the suspect and recognized him as someone they knew.
Responding officers located the suspect one street over and investigation resulted in the arrest of Eric Lee Cartwright, 27, of Cline Ave in Hendersonville. He was charged with one count of attempted aggravated burglary and transported to the Sumner County jail. His court date was set for October 9, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. A photograph is attached to this release.
Further investigation has resulted in additional charges for one count of vehicle burglary and two counts of fraudulent use of a debit card. Investigation continues.
