Alcohol Compliance Checks

On October 29, 2013, members of the Hendersonville Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks of several local establishments. 

Twenty-two locations were visited and all but one refused to sell an alcoholic beverage to an underage customer. The following establishment sold alcohol to an underage customer:

Thornton’s Inc. Store 601 located at 768 East Main Street, the server charged was Jasmine M. Scales, age 23, of Madison, Tennessee

The offending server was cited for selling an alcoholic beverage to a minor and her court appearance was set for December 09, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in the Sumner County General Sessions Court.

The H.P.D. would like to thank all businesses who were in compliance and remind all others that the H.P.D. will continue to do random checks of all businesses selling alcoholic beverages.
