On April 22, 2012, members of the Hendersonville Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks on several local establishments.

Ten locations were visited and all but one refused to sell an alcoholic beverage to an underage customer.

Sydney T. Stopka, age 29, was the server charged at the Strike and SpareFamilyFunCenter located at 90 Volunteer Drive.

The offending server was cited for selling an alcoholic beverage to a minor and his court appearance was set for May 22, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Sumner County General Sessions Court.

The H.P.D. would like to thank all businesses who were in compliance and remind all others that the H.P.D. will continue to do random checks of all businesses selling alcoholic beverages.
