Aggravated Burglary and Theft arrest


On September 9, 2012, the Hendersonville Police Department received a report of an aggravated burglary that had occurred to a residence on Lakeside Park Drive. The victims reported cash, jewelry, and a computer taken.


On September 19, 2012, Detective Harrell arrested Joshua Timothy Smith, age 31, of Scotch Street in Hendersonville for one count of aggravated burglary, one count of theft of property over ten thousand dollars, and one count of criminal trespassing. He was transported to the Sumner County Jail and his court date was set for October 10th, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. His bond was set at $15,000.00. A photograph of Smith is attached to this release.
