Warrants obtained for suspect in stolen vehicle; suspect in custody in Trousdale County
On June 30, 2012, Hendersonville Police responded to Buy Right Automotive on W. Main St. in reference to a stolen vehicle. Police learned that an unknown subject, later identified as Michael W. Strong, age 35, had represented himself as a customer and switched keys as he looked at various vehicles. Police allege that Strong returned later and stole the vehicle for which he had obtained the keys. The vehicle stolen was a 2005, silver Dodge Ram pickup truck.
On October 14, 2012 TrousdaleCounty deputies took Strong into custody on multiple charges involving theft and were able to recover the vehicle stolen from Hendersonville. Hendersonville Police have now obtained an arrest warrant charging Strong with Theft over $1000. Strong remains in Trousdale County Jail pending warrant service.
