Business Burglary and Theft Arrest

 

On 03-23-2011, the owner of the Rhino Market located at 226 West Main Street came into work and found the side door forced open to his business. It was discovered that the cash box and a large number of cigarette cartons were missing. Investigation revealed that the actual break in occurred around 4:15 a.m. on 03-23-2011.

 

Brian Matthew Diggs, 28 years old, of 1070 West Main Street was developed as a suspect. Investigation revealed that Biggs was in possession of stolen property from a Gallatin, Tennessee business burglary and from the Rhino Market burglary in this city.

 

Detective Neil Harris has charged Brian Diggs in the Rhino Market case with:

 

One count of burglary

One count of theft over one thousand dollars

One count vandalism over five hundred dollars

 

His bond was set at $20,000.00 dollars and his court date is set for April 20, 2011 at 9:00 a.m.
