Arrests in recent car burglaries
In the early morning hours of October 1st, several vehicle burglaries occurred within Nottingham Apartments and Lake DVille Apartments. Several items were stolen to include IPODs, GPS units and school supplies.
Through the evening of October 4th and early morning hours of October 5th, Hendersonville Police Detectives conducted a wide sweep of potential suspects and were able to identify four persons directly involved in committing the burglaries.
As of this time, a majority of the stolen property has been recovered. Three juveniles have been detained and charged with delinquent acts based on their involvement. One is from Hendersonville and the other two are from the Goodlettsville area. Each was transported to Sumner County Juvenile Detention pending hearing.
One adult, Jordan T. Cartmell, age 20, of Hendersonville was arrested and is charged with:
5 counts Burglary to a Motor Vehicle
1 count Theft over $1000
2 counts Theft under $500
1 count Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor
Cartmell is currently being held in the Sumner County Jail. Bond information was not available at time of release.
