Stolen vehicle, Attempted Burglary Arrest, 11-05-11


On 11-05-11 at approximately 1:18 am, Hendersonville Police responded to a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex located at 549 E. Main St.  Shortly thereafter, the male suspect stole the victims vehicle and fled the area.  Later the same day, the victim spotted her vehicle in the Rivergate area and pursued it back into Hendersonville while notifying police.  Hendersonville Officers located the vehicle and a pursuit ensued.  The suspect bailed out of the vehicle and fled on foot in the Rockland Rd. area.  The suspect was later observed trying to break into the victim’s apartment and then hiding in some nearby woods.  Officers again responded and the suspect was taken into custody on E. Main St.


Suspect: Douglas Lynn Williams, Jr.

               Age 40

               Unk last address, believed to be staying in motels in the Nashville area.


Williams is charged with Theft over $10,000, Fleeing and Evading, Attempted Aggravated Burglary, and Public Intoxication.
